What to Eat: Mike’s Italian Deli is an old-school spot that opens daily at 5 am for breakfast; the pastries and coffee are as revered in Ozone Park as the deli sandwiches. Romeo’s Pizza and Pasta is another local favorite where you can grab just a slice or a whole pie. If you want something healthier, Veggie Castle II serves fresh juices and vegetarian main dishes.
Things to Do: Ozone Park itself doesn’t have many attractions, but it is so easy to get to New York City and other parts of Queens that it doesn’t matter too much. In nearby Flushing, families like the New York Hall of Science and Queens Museum of Art.
