Their shuttle service is operated by the Doubletree. The services picks up guests at the hotel lobby and drops them off at the Hilton on 54th in Manhattan. While the service is $20 and is more expensive than the PATH or other shuttle services the extra costs pays dividends because you can wait for the return shuttle in the lobby of the NYC Hilton. A better alternative than waiting at a street corner for a third party service.

Ferries operated by NY Waterway Company offer a more inspiring ride from NJ to NYC. However, the frequency of ferry routes gives it a disadvantage, and a one way ride on the ferry is usually between $7 and $11 dollars. Weekend travelers need to be cautions about relying on the ferry. Still, those who want to experience the ferry have several options. The all around best hotel near a ferry from NJ to NYC is the Sheraton because it sits close to the Lincoln Harbor Ferry that operates on both weekdays and weekends. Rates at the Sheraton can be expensive, but the hotel does sit right along the Hudson River so the NYC skyline is in the distance.
